Michelle Hopper Doyle has worked extensively in the performing Arts industry for the past 20 years. She has worked with the world’s best directors and choreographers including Baz Lurhman, George Miller, David Aitkins, Kelley Abbey, Wade Robson, The Squared Division, John O’Connel and Dein Perry.
Michelle’s Stage, Film and TV Credits include: Moulin Rouge, Happy Feet 1 & 2, The Great Gatsby, Singing In The Rain, Grease The Arena Spectacular, Glasgow Commonwealth Games, TV Week Logie Awards, Helpman Awards, X Factor, Australian Idol, MTV Music Awards, Aria Awards and The Nikelodeon Awards.
In 2014 Michelle returned home to the Gold Coast and opened the doors to ‘Launch Performing Arts Centre’. Michelle wants to share her wealth of experience and expertise to train the next generation of performers, developing technically strong and versatile dancers helping each one to unlock their full potential.

With a performance and choreographic career spanning more than 20 years covering film, TV, theatre and specialty events both in Australia and the UK, Kate is one of Australia’s most highly respected and sought after choreographers and mentors. She has had the privilege of working alongside some of the world’s best choreographers, and directors including George Miller, Baz Luhrmann, Wade Robson, Kelley Abbey, Jason Gilkison, The Squared Division, David Atkins to name a few.
As one of Australia’s most respected choreographers and performers, Troy’s career spans more than two decades where he has specialised in musical theatre and stage performance. Hailing from Melbourne, Troy trained at the distinguished Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, Victoria’s premier school for the training of dancers and musicians.
Following a highly successful dance performance in the 1980’s, Karen is now a teaching power house, specialising in teaching and choreographing in all levels of Classical Ballet. Her teaching spans across the UK and Australia including West London School of Dance, Anna Pavlova Studio Ivy House in London, and was a Mentor for the BA (Hons) students at R.A.D. London Headquarters. She is a Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance.
Sonja is highly regarded in the Australian dance industry as the ultimate strength and conditioning technician, working with dancers to build a strong foundation that will allow them to perform at their best. She coaches some of the country’s leading dancers, who have gone on work for or study with prestigious international company’s including Basel Theatre Ballet– Switzerland, Rambert School – London, Martha Grahme – New York, Australian Ballet School, Alvin Ailey – New York, Moulin Rough – Paris, Zurich Ballet School – Zurich, London Ballet Company – London and many, more.
Trained in Melbourne studying full-time ballet at Danceworld 301, Heidi has been working globally as a professional dancer for the last 10 years. She has performed in various Casino shows, corporate events and on major Cruise Lines. A well sought after choreographer and dance teacher on the gold coast she wishes to inspire her students and pass on all that she has learnt from working and travelling the world.
Ngavaine started dancing hip hop at the age of 13 and now 13 years later she has gone from a small town girl from New Zealand well travelled dancer for some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. Ngavaine has back up danced for Jennifer Lopez and Flo Rida on American Idol and danced on her music video “Goin in” 2012 . She has worked for the largest theatrical business in the world “Cirque Du Soleil” on a 2 year contract with the show Micheal Jackson ONE in Las Vegas.
She has worked and featured on a SONY advertisement for the Smartband in Chile 2012. After finishing her 2 year contract in 2014 with “Cirque du Soleil” she moved to Australia to share what she had learnt and experienced from the industry in America choreographing for productions like “7 vices” by Dancers Editorial in 2016 (a Sydney Production company) and local productions from Brisbane like “Shade” 2016 and “Pink Matter” 2017.
Completing her training on the Gold Coast, Caylee has been working professionally as a performer both in Australia and internationally for the last 7 years. She has worked for Showtime Attractions, Pen2stage Productions, Village Roadshow Theme Parks among many others. Caylee is also the current Choreographer for Season 1 and Season 2 of ‘Ashy and Friends’ live stage show and animated episodes. Caylee is a certified in the Acrobatic Arts syllabus and holds a Cert IV in Musical Theatre at Queensland College of Performing Arts and Cert IV in Performing Arts (Dance).
After learning at a very young age his passion for contemporary dance and ballet, Samuel embarked on his professional training at just age 14. At the age of 16, he was invited to partake in a traineeship with Brisbane based contemporary dance company, Expressions. Samuel’s international stage credentials include: Royal Caribbean’s “Saturday Night Fever” The Broadway Musical, Royal Caribbean’s “In the Air” A full acrobatic and aerial Show, Norwegian Cruise Lines “Encore”, “Rock You Tonight” and “What the World Needs Now”.
Roxie has been dancing since she was 3 years old, studying in all facets of dance including acrobatics under the direction of Peta Norton.
Her professional credits include The Boy from Oz, The Production Company, The Royal Princess and Princess Cruises. She has also travelled extensively throughout the Middle East and Asia performing in shows such as ‘Let’s Imagine’ and ‘Barney’s Musical Castle’ for Millennium Entertainment and has also worked for choreographers such as Jason Coleman and Andrew Hallsworth. Roxie has lived in Sydney for the past 10 years teaching at some of Australia’s leading performing arts studios in styles such as Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Lyrical and Acrobatics.
Bliss Nixon is a passionate performer who is making herself known in the entertainment industry. Past experiences include working at Movie world, Channel 10, Channel 9, Promotional ambassador roles, main stage presenting, suit character work, trivia hosting, event management, 9 week musical productions and even radio.
Bliss has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre & Music from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles California. She also has a postgraduate degree in Secondary Education from QUT, specialising in Drama and Music.
Bliss’s television credits for presenting include, Toasted TV, The Great Australian Bake Off and the Today show. Directing includes: Harvard the Musical, All we need is love, Back to the 80’s and Blue Hair Days.
Melissa joins LAUNCH with more than 20 years of industry experience, both on stage and behnd the scenes. Her career in performing arts has seen her perform in numerous stage productions, live televised events, and as a lead vocalist for various corporate bands and cabaret shows. Career highlights include Swing Musical Performer at Universal Studios Japan, Lead Production singer for Carnival Cruise Lines and Lead Cabaret singer on Sydney Showboats. Behind the scenes, Melissa worked as the program manager for Brightstars Australia and then went on to be Academy Manager for top Children’s Agency ‐ Bambini Talent group, where she created and facilitated talent training programs for budding young stars. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies, and is currently completing her Master of Teaching.
Ellie has worked in theatre, stage and screen for over a decade. She is a dedicated acting and physical theatre coach and has mentored many students whom have gone on to work in the Australian film, theatre and television industry. Ellie has worked as an instructor for The Australian Acting Academy, Tom McSweeney, Stage Craft Acting School and in 2009 founded Skazka Physical theatre Company which used an original curriculum developed by Ellie, herself. Ellie is also an accomplished actress who has appeared in television shows such as channel Nine’s The Strip; touring dance productions such as The Shadow Garden; and theatre productions such as Hayden Spencer’s The Gremlins.
Melissa has had a strong passion for the performing arts for as long as she can remember, but it’s more the dramatic arts that she has pursued as her career both personally and teaching young students that also share her passion.
Melissa works at a number of schools on the Gold Coast as a private Speech and Drama tutor, teaching predominantly at All Saints Anglican School. Alongside her passion for teaching drama, Melissa has been involved in many local theatre productions where more recently has been heavenly involved with the Gold Coast Spotlight Theatre Company as well as participating in the Brisbane Fringe Festival while at university
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Creative Industries Majoring in Drama.
Midori completed her A.R.A.D with Distinction through Ransley Dance Centre in 2004 and was accepted into Level Six of The Australian Ballet School. Upon graduation in 2007, she joined the Houston Ballet and performed with the company until 2010.
Midori’s vision as a dance teacher is to inspire, encourage and nurture each student to reach their technical and artistic potential. She strives to nourish creativity, passion and discipline and believes it can all be achieved in a respectful and fun environment.
