Michelle Hopper Doyle has worked extensively in the performing Arts industry for the past 20 years. She has worked with the world’s best directors and choreographers including Baz Lurhman, George Miller, David Aitkins, Kelley Abbey, Wade Robson, The Squared Division, John O’Connel and Dein Perry.
Michelle’s Stage, Film and TV Credits include: Moulin Rouge, Happy Feet 1 & 2, The Great Gatsby, Singing In The Rain, Grease The Arena Spectacular, Glasgow Commonwealth Games, TV Week Logie Awards, Helpman Awards, X Factor, Australian Idol, MTV Music Awards, Aria Awards and The Nikelodeon Awards.
In 2014 Michelle returned home to the Gold Coast and opened the doors to ‘Launch Performing Arts Centre’. Michelle wants to share her wealth of experience and expertise to train the next generation of performers, developing technically strong and versatile dancers helping each one to unlock their full potential.

With a performance and choreographic career spanning more than 20 years covering film, TV, theatre and specialty events both in Australia and the UK, Kate is one of Australia’s most highly respected and sought after choreographers and mentors. She has had the privilege of working alongside some of the world’s best choreographers, and directors including George Miller, Baz Luhrmann, Wade Robson, Kelley Abbey, Jason Gilkison, The Squared Division, David Atkins to name a few.
As one of Australia’s most respected choreographers and performers, Troy’s career spans more than two decades where he has specialised in musical theatre and stage performance. Hailing from Melbourne, Troy trained at the distinguished Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, Victoria’s premier school for the training of dancers and musicians.
As a graduate of the Victoria College of the Arts Secondary School, Simon has been working professionally on stage, small screen and corporate projects for more than 15 years, performing in award-winning musicals such as Hairspray, Chicago and Saturday Night Fever, King Kong Live On Stage and most recently in the Australian production of Ghost The Musical.
Trained in Melbourne studying full-time ballet at Danceworld 301, Heidi has been working globally as a professional dancer for the last 10 years. She has performed in various Casino shows, corporate events and on major Cruise Lines. A well sought after choreographer and dance teacher on the gold coast she wishes to inspire her students and pass on all that she has learnt from working and travelling the world.
Midori completed her R.A.D training with Distinction through Ransley Dance Centre in 2004 and was accepted into Level Six of The Australian Ballet School.
Midori’s vision as a dance teacher is to inspire, encourage and nurture each student to reach their technical and artistic potential. She strives to nourish creativity, passion and discipline and believes it can all be achieved in a respectful and fun environment.
Completing her training on the Gold Coast, Caylee has been working professionally as a performer both in Australia and internationally for the last 7 years. She has worked for Showtime Attractions, Pen2stage Productions, Village Roadshow Theme Parks among many others. Caylee is also the current Choreographer for Season 1 and Season 2 of ‘Ashy and Friends’ live stage show and animated episodes. Caylee is a certified in the Acrobatic Arts syllabus and holds a Cert IV in Musical Theatre at Queensland College of Performing Arts and Cert IV in Performing Arts (Dance).
Following a highly successful dance performance in the 1980’s, Karen is now a teaching power house, specialising in teaching and choreographing in all levels of Classical Ballet. Her teaching spans across the UK and Australia including West London School of Dance, Anna Pavlova Studio Ivy House in London, and was a Mentor for the BA (Hons) students at R.A.D. London Headquarters. She is a Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance.
Melissa joins LAUNCH with more than 20 years of industry experience, both on stage and behnd the scenes. Her career in performing arts has seen her perform in numerous stage productions, live televised events, and as a lead vocalist for various corporate bands and cabaret shows. Career highlights include Swing Musical Performer at Universal Studios Japan, Lead Production singer for Carnival Cruise Lines and Lead Cabaret singer on Sydney Showboats. Behind the scenes, Melissa worked as the program manager for Brightstars Australia and then went on to be Academy Manager for top Children’s Agency ‐ Bambini Talent group, where she created and facilitated talent training programs for budding young stars. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies, and is currently completing her Master of Teaching.
Roxie has been dancing since she was 3 years old, studying in all facets of dance including acrobatics under the direction of Peta Norton.
Her professional credits include The Boy from Oz, The Production Company, The Royal Princess and Princess Cruises. She has also travelled extensively throughout the Middle East and Asia performing in shows such as ‘Let’s Imagine’ and ‘Barney’s Musical Castle’ for Millennium Entertainment and has also worked for choreographers such as Jason Coleman and Andrew Hallsworth. Roxie has lived in Sydney for the past 10 years teaching at some of Australia’s leading performing arts studios in styles such as Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Lyrical and Acrobatics.
Ellie has worked in theatre, stage and screen for over a decade. She is a dedicated acting and physical theatre coach and has mentored many students whom have gone on to work in the Australian film, theatre and television industry. Ellie has worked as an instructor for The Australian Acting Academy, Tom McSweeney, Stage Craft Acting School and in 2009 founded Skazka Physical theatre Company which used an original curriculum developed by Ellie, herself. Ellie is also an accomplished actress who has appeared in television shows such as channel Nine’s The Strip; touring dance productions such as The Shadow Garden; and theatre productions such as Hayden Spencer’s The Gremlins.
